Services

As a licensed psychological psychotherapist with a certificate of competence in the guideline procedure of behavioral therapy and the corresponding entry in the register of physicians (according to § 4 Ärztezulassungsverordnung), I charge the fee for a psychotherapeutic session in my private practice according to the fee schedule for psychotherapists and physicians (GOP).

One hour of individual therapy (50 min) is currently charged at 135,53 euros (3,1 times, GOP number 870).

If you cancel your scheduled session less than 48 hours in advance, you will be charged a so-called standby fee amounting to 75% of the full session fee (equivalent to EUR 98.36). This cancellation fee is to be paid by you regardless of the type of insurance. It covers the costs incurred by me in booking your regular appointment. It is also a commitment to you and your commitment to dealing with your difficulties.

The costs of group psychotherapy are usually covered by private health insurance. The exact cost coverage depends on the conditions of your individual insurance plan. It is advisable to contact your insurance company in advance to clarify whether the costs will be covered. The costs per participant are based on the GOP and currently amount to 61.20 euros for 100 minutes (GOP number 871).

Privately insured persons / subsidy

For people with private health insurance or supplementary insurance for psychotherapy, access to therapy is usually relatively easy. The costs are normally covered by the health insurance, but the exact modalities vary from insurance to insurance. I therefore recommend that you clarify the exact conditions with your health insurance company before starting therapy (e.g. Which services are covered? Is a declaration of coverage required?)

It is possible that certain private health insurances and subsidies do not reimburse all costs, so you may have to bear some of the costs yourself.

Self payer

If you do not have statutory or private health insurance, if your insurance does not cover the costs or if you would like to pay for the therapy yourself for personal reasons, you have the option of starting therapy as a self-payer. In this case, you bear the costs of the therapy yourself. In the case of self-payment, no formalities are necessary apart from registering at the practice.

Statutorily insured

I have the full qualifications, but I am not a contract psychotherapist. Therefore, I can settle the therapy costs with the statutory health insurance companies using the so-called cost reimbursement procedure (according to § 13.3, SBG V).This is possible, for example, if you have tried to find a therapy place with several colleagues with health insurance approval, but cannot find a therapy place in the near future and at a reasonable distance.
